Lunaria was envisioned by Steven Kainth, in London UK. Steven trained as a product designer before embarking on a career in media and retail marketing. In 2017 he launched his own research agency and creative studio, helping global brands with market intelligence, insights, and foresight planning. His clients have included some of the best brands in the world; Ray Ban, Oakley, Prada, Fitbit, Omega Watches, Microsoft, Amazon, Sony, HP and many others.

Following years of research, Steven wanted to create a space that allows people to discover products and features in a more meaningful way. He started by asking, is it possible to create the same wow moments online as you would experience in a real department store? Is the current shopping mall format and high street still relevant in the digital age? How will metaverses actually work? What are the key technologies that will play an important role in the future? This led to the creation of imagining and building the city of Lunaria.

Lunaria is not powered by algorithms, it’s curated by real people whose experiences, tastes and expertise we value. Our goal is for visitors to discover things they may not have otherwise ventured to look for, when products are discovered on Luniara, be assured it’s better for the planet.
