Field Doctor

Field Doctor launched in 2021, founded by dietician Sasha Watkins and food entrepreneurs Martin Dewey and Alex Brooks. Its aim is to make healthy meals, backed by science. The company launched a crowdfunding campaign with Seedrs in 2022, in order to scale its range of 30 meals (including Indian-, Thai- and European-inspired dishes) across the UK.

Regenerative agriculture is at the heart of Field Doctor’s philosophy, with an active emphasis on sustainability. While products are largely plant-based, some grass-fed farmed meat and MSC-certified fish are used. The business is a member of the LEAF farming charity.

Field Doctor sells the UK’s only certified low-FODMAP meals to aid better digestive health. All meals are made with nutritionist input and flash frozen to lock in nutrition and reduce waste. The business supports British farmers with sustainable practices.
