The Human Library

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to borrow a person, rather than a book? Now you can, thanks to The Human Library – a not-for-profit learning platform that hosts personal conversations designed to challenge stigma and stereotypes. Created in Copenhagen in 2000, The Human Library loans human ‘books’ – that is, volunteers who have personal experience with their topic and engage in open dialogue.
