MUD Jeans
In order to radically change the fashion industry, MUD Jeans focuses on three pillars: the circular economy, fair production and positive activism. Every pair of MUD Jeans is recycled into a new pair, leaving no waste and using 92% less water than a typical pair of jeans. In addition, the Dutch brand will recycle pre-loved denim from any brand, provided the jeans are made from 96% cotton or more. In 2013, MUD Jeans introduced a pioneering jeans-leasing model, where customers can rent their jeans for €9.95 per month. It also offers customers a free repair service during the first 12 months of their lease or purchase. Styles are seasonless and made to last. And to further education, MUD Jeans has created a five-part course on the ins and outs of sustainable and circular fashion.
