Founder Kameese Davis’ entrepreneurial journey was inspired by her daughter Nylah. Frustrated by the lack of effective but gentle products on the market for Black hair, Kameese was inspired to start Nylah’s Naturals to offer kinder solutions that worked for textured, curly and coiled hair. Fast-forward to April 2021, Kameese pitched the brand on the BBC’s Dragons’ Den and won the investment needed to scale.

Nylah’s is a Black, female-owned brand that empowers women with textured hair to safely care for their hair. Nylah’s is a 100% toxin-free product range for curly and coiled hair types. All ingredients are given a hazard rating – low, moderate or high – using an EWG scoring with a detailed and transparent explanation on the website.
